Classic Tours

Guided Tours

  • A docent-led 60-minute tour of the Pabst Mansion.  Visitors learn about the Pabst Mansion, Pabst family and details about the architecture and furnishings of the home while exploring the first through third floors.

Self-guided Tours

  • Visitors can explore the Pabst Mansion at their own pace with the accompaniment of a self-guide packet and docents available within the exhibition spaces to answer questions.

Sunday Mimosa Tours

  • Cheers to a perfect Sunday morning!  Leisurely sip champagne in style while admiring the elegant home of Captain Frederick Pabst and his wife Maria on a guided tour.

Blue Ribbon Happy Hour Tours

  • Beer, as a central identity marker of the Pabst family, will be the resonant theme of this adult-only tour by telling the story of the rise of the brewing industry in Milwaukee and how Pabst Blue Ribbon was once the top selling beer in America.  In true happy hour fashion the tour, which takes place on the first floor of the Mansion, includes a PBR toast to the Captain!

Behind-the-Scenes Tours (Offered May-September)

  • Ever wonder what’s beyond a classic Pabst Mansion tour? Here is your chance to explore the areas behind the ropes and closed doors. This is in-depth look at the home, all the way from the basement to the attic, is for those who just want to see it all! Limit 10 people per tour.
  • *Please note this tour lasts approximately two hours and involves stairs, uneven doors, narrow doors, and constant standing/walking

Family-friendly Guided Tours (Offered Saturdays)

  • An abbreviated half-hour guided tour designed for families with young children.
  • All children attend the Family-free Tour free of charge.

Visita Guiada Clásica - Español

  • Un recorrido de 60 minutos dirigido por un guía de la Mansión Pabst en español. Los visitantes recorren los tres niveles de la casa y aprende sobre la casa, la familia Pabst y su impacto en el área metropolitana de Milwaukee.
  • **Llegue 10 minutos antes de su recorrido para registrarse en el Centro de visitantes y tienda de regalos, ubicado en la base occidental de la entrada de Pabst Mansion. Los recorridos comienzan puntualmente a la hora.**

 

Tickets are available for purchase in advance online or in the museum shop the day of the tour.  While advance ticket purchase is not required, please understand tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
