Milwaukee Masterpieces: Pabst and the Panoramic Artists

In the late 19th century, Milwaukee thrived as a hub for entertainment, particularly cycloramas, panoramic images foreshadowing today's motion pictures. Led by F.W. Heine and August Lohr, the American Panorama Company created breathtaking scenes, leaving an enduring mark despite a decline in public interest and the studio's closure in 1891.
