Do I need to purchase a ticket in advance?
No. Tickets are available for purchase in advance online or in the museum shop the day of the tour. While advance ticket purchase is not required, please understand tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
Is there an elevator at the mansion?
Yes! The Pabst Mansion is fully accessible on all three exhibit floors. If a guest requires access to the elevator from the ground floor, please let staff know upon your arrival so that the back entrance may be opened for you.
For the Behind-the-Scenes Tours, guests will have access to the basement, but not the attic.
Can I take photos?
Yes! You may take photos as long as you do not use the flash. Videos are not allowed.
Where should I check in for my tour?
Please check in at our Visitor Center & Gift Shop, located in the Marq building next to the Mansion on the west side.
What is your policy on service animals?
Service animals are permitted on the Pabst Mansion property. Although we appreciate the comfort that emotional support animals can provide, emotional support animals are not permitted.
Can I tour the mansion on my own?
The Pabst Mansion offers a Self-Guided hour every day from noon-1pm. All other tours during the day are guided. . Exceptions include Christmas at the Pabst Mansion and Floral Reflections: Ikebana at the Pabst Mansion, when all tours are self-guided.
What is your bag policy?
Bags larger than 5"x7" will not be allowed into the Pabst Mansion. In order to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all visitors, there are lockers, located in the Visitors Center & Gift Shop, in cases where large bags need to be stored.
Do you have parking?
Yes! Limited parking is available at the Pabst Mansion (2000 West Wisconsin Avenue) and across the street at 2023 West Wisconsin Avenue.
Code of Conduct
The Pabst Mansion is committed to fostering a safe environment where both its visitors and employees are treated with respect and dignity. Consequently, the Pabst Mansion prohibits any unwelcome behavior or conduct of a verbal, written, or physical nature that disrupts an employee's work environment or hinders a patron's ability to utilize the Mansion's resources and services. Such behavior also includes actions that create an unsafe, intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment for both employees and Mansion patrons.
This prohibition applies to all areas within the Mansion and its premises. In instances where there is reasonable cause to believe that an individual has engaged in any of these prohibited behaviors on Mansion property, the offender will be required to promptly vacate the Mansion premises.
